Staying hydrated is important year-round, but especially during the summer months. Your body requires more water this time of year because the temperatures rise, and you might be more active. This means your body can easily overheat and lose more fluids, much faster. While drinking water not only keeps you from being dehydrated and thirsty, staying hydrated has many benefits that you may not be aware of.
Each day, try to hit your daily water consumption required before drinking any other fluids. Fluid balance is important, and while most fluids may hydrate you, water does the job best. Staying hydrated can help your productivity; whether that’s at work or at play, or by using your brain or your body, you will perform better if you are properly hydrated.
