Lakeland Energy’s fibre optic division Lakeland Networks, celebrates a new expansion into the Town of Gravenhurst.
On January 17th, 2018 Lakeland Networks will formally announce the expansion of their fibre optic network into the Town of Gravenhurst. An information and ribbon cutting event will take place at 10:00am, Howard Johnson Inn, 1165 Muskoka Road South. This event includes a photo opportunity at 11am on Muskoka Road South, outside of the Hotel, under the Gravenhurst sign.
Throughout 2018 Lakeland Networks will be investing approximately $1 million-dollars to build 20 kms of Fibre Optic infrastructure within the Town of Gravenhurst. This project will create the opportunity for local businesses and residents to connect to the fastest internet available in Canada. Lakeland Networks continues to focus its growth primarily in the Muskoka region.
