1. Is a set top box required for each TV?
– Yes

2. I cannot control my TV STB with the remote?
– Please try pressing the “STB” button on the remote. If that doesn’t work, please replace the batteries and ensure the remote has line of sight to the STB.

3. What if the TV Screen says no signal?
– First make sure the STB is powered on and you must also make sure that the TV is on the proper input or source.

4. When will TV be available in my area?
– If you have access to Lakeland’s fibre optic Internet service in Bracebridge, Huntsville, Port Sydney or Gravenhurst, you can sign up for TV service. Please contact our sales team to sign up.

5. The volume is not very loud but I am at 100.
– You must make sure that the volume on your TV is also turned up, please use your remote control that came with your TV.

6. Do you have Pause Live TV?
– You can pause Live TV on the PVR unit only.

7. Do you have Video on Demand (VOD) and Pay per View (PPV)?
– This feature is not currently available.

8. Does the age of the TV matter?
– No, however our set top boxes do require HDMI ports for High Definition content. Older televisions are not always equipped with these ports. If you have RCA Composite Audio/Video ports on your TV (red/white/yellow) ports your older TV can be connected. 9. Can I suspend my services for a short period of time?
– No

10. How many shows can I record at once?
– While watching a show, you can record two shows at once OR if you are watching a pre-recorded show, you can record three shows at once.

11. How often can I change my channel lineup?
– You can add channels at anytime. If you cancel a channel mid month, you will have access to that channel for the remainder of the month and be billed for he entire month.

12. How many hours of recordings can the DVR hold?
– Over 400 hrs in standard definition (SD) or over 200 hrs in high definition (HD).

13. If I wish to cancel my TV service, what do I need to do?
– Please provide 30 days notice to cancel your TV channels and you will be required to return all equipment to our office in Bracebridge or Huntsville.
